Final Victory
Lahore Qalandars were defeated by 5 wickets by Multan Sultans. With nine boundaries and three maximums in a fantastic 82 off 59 balls, captain Rizwan led from the front. Even while other hitters could not hold on, he kept Multan’s innings together. David Willey proved to be a patient partner for him, as he scored 25 runs off of 23 balls. For the fourth wicket, they both contributed to a 75-run partnership. Rizwan managed the scoring rate, and Willey continued to rotate the strike.
Lahore believed they had a chance to rally after Rizwan was removed, but Iftikhar produced a spectacular cameo, leading his team across the finish line with an undefeated 34 from only 11 balls that included 5 boundaries and 2 maximums. Lahore’s captain Shaheen was excellent with the new ball and returned towards the conclusion of the innings to produce a strong last over. In his four overs, he scored 2–25. Zaman Khan took a few wickets as well, but his cost was excessive because he gave up 52 runs during his spell.
